The hotel features cozy decor and a clean room. The balcony was very small, not worth the extra cost.

The Staff are so friendly and accomodating, they answered every question, direction, query etc that I asked. The location is within walking distance from the main high street shops, close to an endless amount of restaurants & cafes and is close to the beach/promenade. At night it's fairly quiet as we stayed in the front of the hotel overlooking the main street which seemed to quieten down around midnight.
The breakfast is fairly poor/standard and at 9euros it isn't exactly cheap, I would much rather head out and pick up a coffee & coissant deal in a cheeky little cafe and watch the world go by. The overall room price is a little high for what you get but the entire city is expensive so maybe I'm moaning for the sake of it here.

Room good size. Balcony a bonus. Didnt try breakfast as near to old town and many cafes. Clean towels changed each day. Room clean and staff helpful. Hotel had character, long estabished in old building. Air con worked well, not too noisy. Position handy for town and station/bus station.
Shower cubicle v small . No lift. Decoration of room a bit drab.

The location was superb. Only a ten minute walk to the promenade. Supermarket 3 doors down. The staff were friendly. The room was small but comfotable. The continental breakfast was really good - same each day but easy. Overall enjoyed the stay.

The room was phenomenal: extremely classy as far as decor and bed was remarkably comfortable. I had expressly requested a room with a bed big enough for two people, so even though the room that I had booked had a small bed, we were upgraded no charge to a king sized one. The staff were all quite nice and answered some brief questions I had (they also spoke French with me, which I always consider a bonus because although it's very easy for me to understand French, I still need a lot of practice speaking it, which is difficult when people hear my accent and immediately switch to English). I can't stress enough how extremely classy this hotel was. For the amount that we payed (which was super cheap!) I was surprised by the very high quality of this hotel, I felt like we should have been paying 3 times as much as we did. Although this might be because we went in April and avoided the height of Tourist Season!
The shower only had a flimsy curtain so it was a little tricky to keep water from flooding the bathroom. Additionally, the drain wasn't functioning at 100% capacity so the bottom of the shower filled up quite quickly, which is a problem if you take long showers (like I do). However, all in all, these complaints are minor (I didn't even mention it to the staff because it wasn't a big deal) and out of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our vacation to the French Riviera, this is the one that I give a glowing recomendation!

1. Spacious room, comfortable for 2 persons. 2. Location 1km or approx. 10 minute walk from Gare Nice-Ville train station, and 2-3 blocks away from the main strip making it a quiet location. Also easy walking access (approx. 10-15 mins) to both the beach and old town.
Bathroom is small and cramped. Persons over 170cms may find showering difficult, but you will adapt!

The bed was super comfy, and they replaced the towels every day, nice. The room felt cozy and inviting. Just a heads up, the bathroom could get a bit cramped, though. The location made it easy to explore the city without much hassle. Bonus for the lovely Indian restaurant nearby!
